Much of her time now is spent bid writing, securing funding for construction companies of all sizes, to help them source and secure the skills, qualifications and training their workforce needs to help achieve business growth and development. She have recently written a number of bids which secured over £300,000 of funding to help address the issue of productivity in the Construction Sector. Hard Hat Training Services Ltd are now involved with project managing these initiatives that exist to research, design, test and evaluate innovative new training solutions aimed at reducing the volume and cost of error in the industry.
Rachel is currently studying for her Masters In Employment Law and is researching the complex issue of worker status in the Construction Industry.
- Careers events to promote construction and secure high quality applicants for the 18-19 academic year.
- Support for developing supervisors and managers (NVQs and SSP qualifications can be funded @ 50% of usual cost for many members)
- Delivery of business support, training needs analysis and assistance with bid writing to secure up front funding for training.
Dawn recently achieved CIPD Level 5 in Human Resources Management and specialises in employee engagement. She now supports a number of Construction Companies with getting their contracts of employment and basic employment policies and procedures right, to minimise the risk of any employment claims.
